Free Admission to National Parks

Summer is nearly here and the kids are eager for school to be over for the year. Are your summer plans set yet?

So here’s the deal:

The National Park Service is offering free entrance to any National Park nationwide, including the Grand Canyon, Joshua Tree National Park and Historic Jamestowne here in Virginia, on select weekends this summer. You can hit any of these parks June 20-21, July 18-19 and August 15-16 absolutely free. Thanks, My Frugal Adventures!

  1. If you have never been, Joshua Tree National Park is beautiful - a must if you are a U2 fan - you'll see the location of their album cover! Watch out for the coyotes - they will try to sneak around for any food you leave unattended!
